PrayExpectantly.com FAQ
Q. There isn't a password field when I log in. Am I really logging in?
A. We're working with inherent trust at prayexpectantly.com. Similarly to
a newsgroup that allows you to put in whatever "username" you want, we allow
you to "login" with whatever name you want. The purpose of the login / welcome
back heading is simple convenience at not having to re-type your name.
Q. The site doesn't look that great in my browser (or on my device). Can you make it better?
A. Let us know which device you're on (see the last question for contact info) and we'll look in to
figuring out what's wrong. If you just don't like the format, let us know also -- we'll pray for
God's guidance in redesigning the site.
Q. Oops, I mistyped a request, or forgot to log in, or forgot to post anonymously. Can you fix it?
A. Sure. Send an email (see below for contact info) describing the problem, and we'll fix it.
Q. What is Luke 11:13?
A. “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be
opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the
door will be opened. Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?
Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give
good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who
ask him!” (Luke 11:9-13 NIV). The idea here is that we should come to our Father expectantly, as a
child fully expects his father to provide for him.
Q. What types of features are you working on?
A. We are currently looking in to:
- Possible links to other social networking sites providing the "Pray for" button.
- Additional, customizable Prayer Lists in addtion to just My Prayer List.
Q. It would be really cool if...
